Gina Pereira is a trusted operator and adviser to principals and families navigating complexity — integrating priorities across the business, personal, financial and philanthropic dimensions of their lives, and ensuring that decisions translate into outcomes.
Over a career spanning law, fiduciary practice, governance and philanthropy across multiple jurisdictions, she has developed the fluency to engage across every conversation a principal needs to have — and to hold the thread between them.
Gina is recognised as a leader and innovator in the private client profession. She originated and led industry-driven initiatives that resulted in two landmark pieces of Bermuda legislation — the Trustee Amendment Act 2025, clarifying trustees' powers in relation to responsible investing, and the Benefit Entities Act 2025, creating a first-of-its-kind framework for family enterprises in international financial centres. She also spearheaded the development of the STEP Responsible Stewardship of Wealth Toolkit, a peer-reviewed professional resource now used by practitioners and families worldwide.
She is the recipient of the STEP Founder's Award 2025, presented for outstanding contribution to the profession.
The Art of Evolution
Dāna was founded in 2010 as a philanthropy advisory practice, helping wealth owners deploy capital with purpose and intention. The firm's work in this space was recognised with the STEP Private Client Award for Philanthropy Team of the Year in 2018 and 2019. Over time, the firm evolved to reflect a broader conviction: that the most enduring stewardship of wealth requires integration across every dimension of a principal's life — not just the philanthropic or financial, but the personal, the relational, and the operational.
